STASIS

STASIS | Vitreous Cohesion & Sintered Flux

A dialogue between dense matter and light transmission. This installation explores the behavior of high-viscosity fluids captured in a state of absolute stasis.

The high-density technical porcelain (Sintered Alumina) acts as a structural crust, encapsulating amorphous glass nodes. Within, carbon black sediments remain in suspension—residual biological information trapped in time.

A surgical system of fused silica monofilaments (125μm) bridges the void, functioning as an optical nervous system that maintains the structural integrity of the mass through pure tension.

Weight vs. Flow. Mineral vs. Light.
