The series Brannia is not only an exploration of the natural world, but also a reflection on the relationship between humans and animals.
We wanted to convey the idea that we are all part of the same ecosystem and that our actions have consequences not only for ourselves, but for the entire planet.
It is a series of contemporary abstract animal sculptures inspired by the wildlife of the Palentian Mountains, a beautiful remote location in northern Spain.
The Palentian Mountains are home to a diverse range of wildlife, and we wanted to pay homage to their significance through our artwork.
Each sculpture is made in 3d simulating different clay materials symbolizing the connection between animals and the earth.
Through the use of abstract forms and textures, we aimed to capture the essence of each animal while leaving room for interpretation and personal reflection.
We chose to simulate different clay materials to represent the connection between animals and the earth, emphasizing the symbiotic relationship between these creatures and their environment.
Brannia is a tribute to the beauty and complexity of nature, as well as a call to action to protect it for future generations.
